Position: Controller/Chief Financial Officer

Location: Visalia, California

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing all, or a major portion of, Association's financial operations. Manages Association's general ledger accounting functions; cash accounting; centralized bill paying and fixed asset accounting functions; preparation and distribution of financial reports; assists with preparation of tax returns; and manages all functional responsibilities in a manner which assures focus on customer service and efficiency. Also responsible for reporting functions (stockholder, regulatory, management, etc.) and the development, maintenance, and testing of internal (Sox) controls in an audited/regulated environment.

Experience:

Required: Ten years in accounting; five years supervisory experience; and, hands-on experience using PC, word processing, automated accounting applications, and electronic spreadsheet software. Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Preferred: Extensive experience with financial institutions.

Education/Certification:

Required: Minimum of BA/BS in accounting/business/finance.

Preferred: CPA, CMA, CFA, or MBA
