Enhanced Security Coming to myFCW

Important changes are coming to your myFCW account on April 13.

Farm Credit West is increasing security to further protect customer information in myFCW, our online portal used to access secure messages, documents, industry news, and online banking. These important changes will further mitigate attempted fraud attacks.

The first time users log into myFCW beginning on April 13, they will be asked to complete the following steps:

Reset Password. The new password must meet the following requirements:
  • - 8 characters minimum
  • - Include a lowercase letter
  • - Include an uppercase letter
  • - Include a number
  • - Refrain from using common words or any part of your Online ID

Review and Accept the updated Site Usage Agreement and the included terms and conditions.

Establish multifactor authentication (MFA). To verify your identity, you will now receive a secure 6-digit code at a phone number you provide when logging into myFCW. This will help prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing your account.

  • - Enter a phone number in myFCW to receive a text or phone call with a secure code when accessing myFCW. Mobile phones are recommended, although not required if voice calls are selected as the preferred method
  • - Register the device you are using to access myFCW if it is a private machine
Review your Security Questions. These security questions are important, and successfully answering them allows you to log into your myFCW account quickly and conveniently when you have forgotten your Password.
  • - Once logged into myFCW, click on My Account
  • - On the left navigation select “Change myFCW Security Questions”
  • - Enter updated questions and responses
