Stewardship / Community Service
Farm Credit West is more than a lender; we’re your neighbors – we live, work, shop and play in your community. Connecting with our customers and communities is part of our DNA. A belief in stewardship drives our support of agricultural and rural communities. In 2021, Farm Credit West donated $926,300 to activities, events, scholarship programs and fundraisers in our various local communities. This includes education, research, local food programs, industry initiatives, rural communities, veteran support, and youth outreach programs such as the FFA and 4-H.
The employees of Farm Credit West invest in the future of agriculture with financial products and services to assist our customer’s businesses, as well as providing strong legislative support. We also proudly serve our communities and industries through volunteer programs and financial donations.
For the last 25 years, Farm Credit West has supported the FFA Sectional Project Competition for the eight FFA programs located in Southern San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties. Farm Credit West has provided both funding of the competition, as well as the judges. Watch the video below to learn more about our Stewardship/Community Service.
